Dr. Dhirav Shah is known for his kind demeanor and meticulous skill. Some of the injuries he treats most often includes Injuries around the Shoulder joint like Torn Labrums, Frozen Shoulder, Rotator Cuff Tears, Shoulder Dislocations, Calcific Tendinitis, Injuries around the knee like Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) injury and Meniscus injuries, Patellar Instability, Baker’s cyst and cartilage injuries of the shoulder and knee with Arthritis. Alongwith this, he is also highly trained and skillful in Fractures Management. A native of Mumbai, Dr. Dhirav Shah did his MBBS graduation from Dr. B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Rajawadi Municipal General Hospital, Mumbai. While in residency, Dr. Dhirav Shah completed specialized training in orthopaedic trauma surgery at the same hospital, one of the busiest and most respected trauma centers in the city. After residency, Dr. Dhirav Shah went on to complete a Sports Medicine and Joint Preservation Fellowship at the prestigious Dr L H. Hiranandani Hospital, Powai, Mumbai. During his fellowship, he participated in the orthopaedic care of many athletes with sports injuries. He also completed an Advance Shoulder and Knee Surgery Fellowship at the same institute, where he participated in multiple complex Shoulder and Knee Replacement Surgeries and Arthroscopic Surgeries. Dr Dhirav Shah is also an internationally trained Shoulder and Knee Surgeon. He went on to complete Hip, Knee and Shoulder Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Fellowship at the prestigious OCM clinic, Munich, Germany. He also went on to train in Advanced Shoulder Surgery at Paracelsus University, Salzburg, Austria. During his international fellowships, Dr Shah attended many advanced surguries and modern techniques and participated in orthopaedic care of all age groups.
